VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to Foundation for a Drug-Free World Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, engaging youth, families and educators via street information stands and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to present straightforward information on commonly abused substances, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used eu news illicit drug in Europe. Details were published in a published overview.
Organisers say, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, noted: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
